Honestly, I applaud all his success and fortune but there are other Olympic athletes that are out there in Beijing competing and they haven’t had the attention like Phelps has received in these past few weeks. I’m just sick of turing on the TV. and seeing him plastered all over the place, I’d rather see more of Amanda Beard and the Swedish crossbow team!! I’m just saying!!

Isaac Hayes died this weekend at his home in Memphis, Tennessee AP reported. The actor and musician was found near a treadmill in his home but was unresponsive the Shelby County Sheriff’s office confirmed to the Associated Press. People might know him as “Chef” on the funny show South Park, but the baby-boomers out there are familiar with his music that won him a Grammy the for “Shaft” Theme. He also recently filmed a part in “Soul Men,” a film due out later this year alongside Bernie Mac, who also passed away this weekend.
